Our colleague Daniel Gamarra Peñalver asks us a question: What would happen if the second largest technological power in the world, one of the sports with the most future projection and one of the most important sports brands on the planet, joined together?

Padel World Press .- The answer that would give this interesting 'cocktail' has name and surname: Adidas Padel Japan ... And is that the passion for paddle in the Asian giant is becoming more noticeable and obvious.

Just a few weeks ago, and thanks to a reportage from the colleagues of the Spanish Commission for the Paddle Industry (CEIP) we tell you how the paddle arrived in Japan at 2013. The beginnings of this adventure were very slow and important efforts had to be made to make this sport known among the fans and to set up the first tracks.

Fortunately, the great work done begins to reap its fruits and, in these two years, the number of practitioners as well as the interest generated by this discipline has not stopped growing.

As in his day, Alberto Fernández stood out in the Adidas Paddle Blog: "The largest number of people interested in trying this sport, and who repeat it, are mostly housewives in love with tennis who spend hours and hours at the club. There are also University students who dedicate a lot of time of the week to the practice of tennis as well as office workers who take advantage of their free time to come and play for a while ".

Regarding the game, the Japanese fans have adapted well to the offensive aspect and have not been slow to dominate the definition shots and the volley… Another issue is the walls and the defensive aspects that, like anyone who is starting, “makes them dizzy a bit".

At present, the 'Country of the Rising Sun' already has 6 paddle tennis courts for the enjoyment of Japanese lovers, distributed as follows: two in Tokyo, one in Osaka, one in Nara, one in Kyoto and one in Piss. In them exhibitions, clinics and tournaments are being organized by the Adidas Padel Japan team

From Pádel World Press we will follow closely this adventure launched by Alberto Fernández and Adidas Pádel, whose objective is none other than to get this wonderful sport to consolidate in one of the great world powers.

For the moment, important steps are being taken and, if you click on this link, you can see a report that was dedicated to the paddle on a Japanese television.

Although we have no idea of Japanese, once again we verify that the language of the paddle is universal.
