Padel World Press .- Just a few days after introducing ourselves its innovative line of bags made from recycled PET bottlesat HEAD have decided to take a new step in their commitment to reduce the use of plastics that damage our ecosystems so much. In that sense, the brand has confirmed that From now on, a cover will not be automatically given for the purchase of a shovel Instead, the buyer can purchase it in the store separately if they so wish.

As noted from the firm: "This measure may seem somewhat strange, as always when someone is the first to change the established dynamic or deviates from the easy path ... But it should be remembered that, from the brand, the removal of covers has been gradually implemented in some specific models and, seeing the good reception of the sector to our strategy, we have decided to extend it to our 2021 range ”.

In their statement, from HEAD they added: “Along the same lines, a few days ago we started a worldwide campaign to clean the seabed thanks to our HEAD R-PET SPORT BAG project, a bag made from 32 PET bottles, a first-generation plastic that can be recycled. This paletero is the first of the company made entirely with recycled materials and can be purchased in stores from February 4. What's more, this model is here to stay and from now on it will always be manufactured using recycled bottles ”.

Through this initiative, The prestigious firm has wanted to appeal to all racquet sports fans and stores to consider the option of not buying paddle covers if they are not going to be used significantly. "Hopefully this action is understood in a positive way and that in no case causes discomfort or disappointment. It is simply our little-big gesture in favor of the preservation of our forests, rivers, jungles, oceans, aquifers, grasslands, tundras and many other types of ecosystems.

There is still some hope for the planet, help us, help it! ”.
