Padel World Press .- Gustavo Pratto shared good and bad times with his pupils. Together they lived the immense joy of reaching the decisive clash of the Estrella Damm Masters Finals 2016 and the sadness of seeing how Juani Mieres missed the first 2017 tournaments due to the knee injury that made him go through the operating room.

Throughout these two campaigns, they achieved 16 presence in the semifinals, played 75 matches in which they added a total of 48 victories and confirmed that they were a serious alternative to fight to occupy the top positions of the WPT Ranking (of which they are currently the couple number 5).

The fact that Gustavo Pratto had his residence in Valladolid was always a 'handicap' and, in the long run, it became one of the main reasons why both the coach and the players decided to put an end to a successful adventure. As he pointed out through his social networks:

"Hello, everyone has to say goodbye to the year and I want to do it using the word THANKS.

First of all the players that I train. They all know that I do what I can because they do better and, in that way, keep learning by their side. Seeing a smile on his face after a victory or giving them a hug in defeat is what I'm passionate about.

In particular, and unfortunately, I want to thank Juan Jose Mieres y Miguel Lamperti. At 2018 we will not be together because of logistics.

What am I going to say to Juani: That I love him like a brother, that I always wish him the best and that he is a padel genius ... And be clear that I will continue to see him and suffer for many years because friendship does not end with work, that is for all the life.

And Miguel, the player I learned to love. We started with many riffracks hehehehehe, probably because of me. But I've learned to love him a lot and admire his passion for paddle tennis. Surely they will do well because they are the fighters of life.

I do not want to forget also to thank JOMA (or Yoma for Juani) and Sioux. Without their support this would not be possible either.

THANK YOU

Gustavo Pratto ".
