Padel World Press .- The second day of the women's quarterfinals of the Masters Finals began with the clash that faced couples number 3 and 6 of the tournament. As expected, It was a clash in which two pairs with two very different styles met: experience and perseverance Patty Llaguno – Eli Amatriain, before the impudence and audacity of the young Bea González - Paula Josemaría.

With great confidence in their game and in their actions, Patty and Eli did not take long to achieve a break with which they put themselves ahead on the scoreboard… Very solid and focused, they knew how to take advantage of the fact that their rivals did not quite find a way to enter the match and, thanks to this, they scored the first set (6-2).

In the second, Llaguno - Amatriain continued with a firm step and promised to be very happy until, with 5-2, Bea and Paula staged a reaction full of courage and managed to make it 5-5 on the scoresheet. With everything to decide, a tie break was reached in which Patty and Eli asserted their seniority in the most important moments, which served to seal the victory by 6-2 and 7-6.

Ale and Ari show their cards

It was one of the most anticipated commitments of the round of quarterfinals... And it is that, face to face, there would be two high-level couples: Mapi and Majo Sánchez Alayeto against Alejandra Salazar - Ari Sánchez.

To date, in this 2020 and they had faced each other twice, both ending with victories for 'AS'… And that was why this third chapter seemed even more interesting ... Because there were many things at stake !!

In the first set, it was Ale and Ari who struck first and, although their rivals reacted perfectly, Salazar and Sánchez took advantage of their opportunity in the eleventh game to achieve the break that allowed them to take the lead (7-5).

Already in the second set, the members of both pairs gave themselves to the maximum and equality continued to be extreme ... The step forward given by Majo from the backhand and the control of the actions that Majo began to impose allowed the twins to force the third set (7-5 and 4-6).

In it, the tension was maximum and none of the four contestants wanted to make the slightest mistake ... They knew that any failure could be final but, in that fight of nerves, Manu Martín's pupils were more successful and certified their presence in the semifinals (7-5, 4-6 and 6-4).

Ahead, an exciting day awaits us on Saturday in which we will know the names of those classified for the grand final of this edition of the Masters Finals.

The show does not stop and we can only say ... Enjoy the Game !!!
