The signs of support and respect that he received from that day were countless but, inside, an idea was taking shape little by little ... He wanted to say goodbye inside the tracks, savoring for the last time those special moments he had shared with the paddle during the last 25 years.
Gijón will have the opportunity to pay a more than deserved tribute to Gastón Malacalza, a player who will remain forever in the history of this sport for his punch, for his dedication and for that characteristic personality that made him connect very easily with fans .
