MEN'S CIRCUIT WTP MEXICO OPEN

One of the great surprises of the tournament will be the absence of Juan Martín Díaz who, together with his partner Miguel Benítez, could not overcome their match against Pablo García and Martín Sánchez Piñeiro.

A very even match by the two couples with a first set that they took Paul and Martin by a break difference (4-6), and a second set that had to be decided in the tiebreaker with prize also for Paul and Martin (6-7). Heading to mexico!

Sergio Alba and Denis Perino They also did their homework against Toni Bueno and Marc Quílez. Sergio and Denis got off to a much better start, controlling all phases of the match to perfection and achieving a fairly solid first set (6-3). The next one was somewhat more equal, but also fell on his side to seal the pass to the final frame (6-4).

Another surprise of the day was the victory of Jaime Muñoz (Chipi) and Ignacio Vilariño who settled a tough game against Álvaro Cepero and Rafa Méndez. The match had to go to three sets, but in the last Chipi and Ignacio were much better and eliminated one of the favorite couples to go to the final table (4-6, 7-5 and 3-6).

Arantxa and Araceli they were better in the first set and displaying a great paddle they managed to get hold of it (6-3). The second was more even, but a final blow was enough for, once again, Arantxa and Araceli to get the set and go to the final draw (6-4).

With great solvency they solved the match Melania Merino and Alejandra Alonso who gave their rivals no chance, Carmen Garcia and Martina Fassio. Two sets were enough to seal his pass to the final frame, one of them perfect (3-6 and 0-6).

Much more complicated was the match between Ksenia Sharifova and Estela Frances Vs Sara Ruiz and Sara Pujals. Ksenia and Estela started like whirlwinds taking the first set by a forceful 6-1, but the rivals woke up and began a tough comeback. "Las Saras" knew how to suffer, but finally they took two agonizing sets, the second by 4-6, and the third in a tiebreaker that could fall from anywhere (6-7).
