Padel World Press .- The surprises, the excitement and the great equality marked an exciting tournament, which served to confirm that this year the fans are going to have fun like never before… And that is that any couple can beat any rival. After an intense week of competition, the thousands of fans who gathered in the stands of the Central Court that was set up in the emblematic Fuente San Luis Pavilion in Valencia were able to enjoy a vibrant final, in which Fernando Belasteguín - Pablo Lima they saved their first 'match ball' against Sanyo Gutiérrez - Maxi Sánchez who aspired to snatch them the position of 1 numbers of the world.
Players with capital letters, the four contenders of this great final decided to surrender without reservations but, this time, Bela and Lima returned to show that game so forceful that makes them a roller for all their rivals.
Very motivated since the start of the tournament, the first seed did not fail and returned to remember that couple has dominated with authority since they joined their paths three seasons ago. Very well planted, with very clear ideas, they were a cyclone impossible to stop in the first set, in which they endorsed their opponents a resounding 6-0.
In the second set, and although Sanyo Gutiérrez - Maxi Sánchez tried to repeat the comeback they already achieved in the semifinals against Juan Martin Diaz - Paquito Navarro, the truth is that this time the good work of the 'Sorcerer' and the 'Shark' was not enough.
Without leaving an iota of the marked script, Fernando Belasteguín - Pablo Lima once again displayed a seamless game, with which they raised a wall that was impossible for their opponents to tear down (6-0 and 6-2).
An emotional embrace, which reflected all the tension accumulated throughout this complicated start of the campaign, helped Bela and Lima to reconfirm that they will not lower their arms despite adversity and that race, courage and ambition will always be some of its main hallmarks.
With no room for rest, just a few seconds to lower the curtain of the Estrella Damm Valencia Open, the World Padel Tour Circuit sets course for Catalan lands where, from the 09 to the 15 in July, the Cabrera de Mar Challenger.
