The Main Draw of the eleventh round of the season is now complete. The facilities of the Wurko Pádel Club lived an intense and exciting day, in which it became clear again that it is increasingly difficult to achieve a place among the 32 best couples of each tournament.
Padel World Press .- On this occasion, the fans could see four duels very even and full of emotion, especially the last two. In them, Juan Cruz Belluati-Lucas Campagnolo and Ernesto Moreno-Lucas Cunha took the victory and, in turn, managed to get five Brazilian players to qualify for the Final Draw of a professional tournament for the first time in history.
For the third consecutive day, the audience attendance was spectacular and it is that no padel fan in the city 'chicharrera' wanted to miss the outcome of the previous phase ... And, as far as you could see inside the court, they did well to be present in the Tenerife site.
In the first engagement of the day, Borja Yribarren and Guga Vázquez easily defeated Ignacio Otero-Martín Sánchez for 6-1 and 6-2. It was a very emotional shock for the Galicians Otero and Yribarren who, after being partners for almost 13 years, faced each other for the first time. As if that were not enough, fate wanted both to meet in the fight to enter the box, although, yes, it should be noted that, despite the defeat, Otero-Sanchez also fulfilled their goal because they were the lucky ones, after the lottery, will occupy the vacancy due to the absence of Miguel Lamperti and Tito Allemandi.
Another pair that also showed that it continues going to more was formed by Jaime Bergareche and Juan Lebrón. With firm step, very solid and without fissures, they beat the always combative Raúl Marcos Durán-Antonio Luque (6-1 and 7-6).
However, the two most exciting clashes were the ones that put an end to this intense day of competition. In the first of them, Juan Cruz Belluati and Lucas Campagnolo, who had reached the Preliminary Phase by lottery, gave a lecture of caste, courage and quality to eliminate Cutu Pérez Millán-José Antonio García Diestro, heads of series 1, with a marker of 6-4, 4-6 and 6-4.
Right after, Ernesto Moreno and Lucas Cunha had to work hard to turn around a very complicated situation. After losing the first set against Willy Castañón-Javier Redondo, they knew how to react to end up winning two agonizing tie break (2-6, 7-6 and 7-6).
On Wednesday, 15 in October and from the 09: 30 hours, will begin the round of 32 matches of the tournament, with eight meetings at the Wurko Pádel Club and another eight at the Main Court of the Insultar Santiago Martín Pavilion.
