The first matches of the round of the Men's Round of 16 did not bring any surprise ... All the seeds have advanced steadily and have secured their presence among the eight best couples in the ninth round of the season.

Padel World Press .- Before the large audience that packed the stands of the Pabellón San Pablo from early in the morning, the great candidates to fight for the conquest of the title took an important step forward and did not grant options to their rivals.

To start, Sanyo Gutiérrez and Maxi Sánchez took away the bad taste in their mouths that they had dragged since their premature elimination in the WPT Alcobendas and easily beat the Brazilians Chico Gomes-Marcello Jardim for 6-2 and 6-3.

Just then, Miguel Lamperti and Maxi Grabiel dominated from start to finish and imposed their law at all times against Adrián Blanco-Diego Ramos. The 6-3 double with which the match was closed proved the superiority of players who dream of improving positions in the WPT Ranking.

In the third match of the day, Jordi-Muñoz and Aday Santana starred in two very different sets against Nacho Gadea-Roberto Saba. The Canaries imposed a very high rhythm in the opening bars and took the first set 6-1. In the second, their rivals had everything in their hands when, with a 2-5, they failed to take advantage of the opportunity to force the third set. Numerous unforced errors allowed their opponents to chain five consecutive games and, thus, certify the victory by 6-1 and 7-5.

To finish, Juani Mieres and Pablo Lima did not have anything simple against Agustín Gómez Silingo-Fede Quiles. In the first set, a single break allowed them to start the duel and put the 6-3 on the scoreboard. In the second, neither of the two pairs gave their arm to twist and everything was decided in a tie break in which the victory was decided on the side of the Princes.

The four games that will put an end to this exciting quarter-final match are underway. The show does not stop and we can only say ... Enjoy the Game !!!
