The two friends from the Province of San Luis revalidated their Masters title with a spectacular victory against the Kings (7-6, 5-7 and 7-5), who said goodbye to their time as a couple.

Padel World Press .- It was something that was expected: there was not a single free seat in the stands of the Central Court enabled in the heart of Pavilion 12 of Ifema. No fan wanted to miss the last match between Juan Martín Díaz and Fernando Belasteguín as a duo. Everyone dreamed of a new victory but they knew that it would not be easy since, ahead, there would be some Sanyo Gutiérrez-Maxi Sánchez who had arrived at the event in excellent shape.

The current Masters, who were struggling to revalidate their title, were aware that the only chance they were going to have was to play 100% from start to finish, without leaving an iota of effort on the court ... They knew, from their own experience, that before the great dominators of the world padel during the last 13 years there is no other option ...

And they do it like that. They went out for all, willing not to let their opponents feel comfortable and they were achieving ... With a very intense paddle, covering all the spaces perfectly and connecting definitive blows at the right moments, they won the first set in the tie break, although Juan and Bela had two set balls to the rest a little earlier.

With the advantage of 7-6 on the scoreboard, Maxi and Sanyo took a step forward after breaking the serve of the Kings and get a 3-0 income, which left the entire Pavilion with its mouth open. Would the best couple in the history of this sport be already sentenced? The answer was clear: NO. Pulling gallons and authority, broke the serve of their opponents and put the 3-3 in the electronic.

Gutiérrez-Sánchez did not break down, they continued working in the same line and they even had the chance to win the match (5-4) to the rest. Juan and Bela did not allow it and sharpened their claws to attack the service of Maxi Sánchez. They got the break and closed the set with service (5-7).

After four days of great matches, of tension, of strong emotions, the current edition of the Masters Tournament was going to be decided in the third and definitive manga. All eyes of the fans of this wonderful sport were placed in the Central Court of the IFEMA 12 Pavilion.

The Kings seemed to give the definitive blow when, in the seventh game and with 3-3, they sensed that it was their moment. They managed to break Maxi's serve and set their sights on the final victory.

But Sanyo and Maxi are not those who lower their arms. They took the best shots of their jar of essences and broke Juan's service, to return to tie the match. The tension could be chewed on the track and in the stands. After securing their service, Maxi and Sanyo remained to win the Estrella Damm Masters Finals. And something inside told them they were going to get it. They returned impossible balls and they rose with the third set (7-5).

Fused in a hug, talking about the field, Juan and Bela talked for a while and then they embraced again. Who knows. Most likely he was saying goodbye and thanking them for all they had given each other over all these years.

Congratulations to Maxi and Sanyo for having revalidated their Masters title ... And congratulations to Juan and Bela for these spectacular 13 years !! For all we love the paddle, you will always be the greatest.
