Those will be just some of the ingredients that will be 'mixed' to offer fans what will be a vibrant female final, which will make the Estrella Damm Masters Finals 2017 enjoy with a passionate outcome in which the great dominators of the Women's Ranking will face with which they are called to be their 'generational relay'.
In the first semifinal of the day, the Atomic Twins had to reach the third set to break the iron resistance offered by some Patty Llaguno-Eli Amatriain who reached the last months of this campaign in an extraordinary state. In addition, in this meeting there was the curiosity that the members of the StarVie Team would face the only couple they had lost to throughout the season ... And that circumstance was about to be repeated.
To start, Patty and Eli were very successful at all times and soon they achieved a break that made them take advantage of 3-1, which they knew how to keep ahead of the scoreboard.
In the second set, Llaguno-Amatriain got a new break but, on this occasion, the pupils of Jorge Martinez were able to react and not only returned the break of serve but also chained four consecutive games and leveled the contest (4-6 and 6-3).
With everything to decide, a third partial was reached in which the four contenders tried their best not to make mistakes. Each stroke, each action was measured to the maximum and thus came to a sudden death in which Mapi and Majo they were much more successful, thanks to which they achieved their classification for the final Masters Finals (4-6, 6-3 and 7-6).
'I dared to power'
As they pointed out from World Paddle Tour, Marta Ortega and Ari Sánchez they will close the campaign in the same way they started it: being present in a fight for the title. In the Santander Open, both made history in becoming the youngest players to win a WPT tournament and now they want to do the same with the Masters Finals.
From the early stages, the girls of Miguel Sciorilli imposed their rhythm and, with a well-designed plan, prevented Victoria Iglesias from bringing out the power of her right. With a firm step, and with very clear ideas, they chained two breaks, thanks to which they put the 6-1 in the electronic.
The forces matched in the second set to the delirium of the 6.000 fans who filled the stands of the Central Court of the IFEMA 10 Pavilion. The games were very disputed but Marta and Ari managed to break the serve of their rivals, which sealed the triumph by 6-1 and 6-4.
Everything is arranged so that on Sunday, December 17, and starting at 10:30 am, there will be a final that promises to be exciting.
