Padel World Press .- Everything is ready for the Costa del Sol town of Marbella to become the venue for the next edition of the European Championship, an exciting competition that will last until next Saturday, July 03. Spain starts as the great favorite in both categories.

El Adolfo Suárez Palace of Fairs and Congresses It was the scene of the opening ceremony of the tournament, in which the 29 participating teams were presented and in which they proceeded to draw the groups of the league phase that will open the modality by National Teams.

In Male Category, four groups were configured:

GROUP A B GROUP GROUP C GROUP D
Italy France Britain Germany
Poland San Marino Lithuania Netherlands
Monaco Spain Belgium Russia
Switzerland Denmark Finland Sweden

Spain, within Group B, will debut on Monday, June 28 at 15:30 p.m., against San Marino. Their next tie will be against France and the group will end with the duel against Denmark.

In the Women's Category, the 13 participating teams gave rise to the following four groups:

GROUP A B GROUP GROUP C GROUP D
France Italy Britain Netherlands
Sweden Germany Spain Russia
Finland Poland Belgium Lithuania
      Denmark

The Spanish team, framed in group C, will debut on Tuesday, June 29, against Belgium. Their second clash will measure them to Great Britain.

They will be the first obstacles that the Spanish teams will have to face in their assault on the tenth European wound.
