The passion and interest that this amateur competition is awakened among fans does not stop growing. All participants have found a new way to enjoy competing and, in addition, to meet many people who share 'devotion' for this wonderful sport. On this occasion, the SNP team presents Enzo Colacral, alma mater of the 4 Mundo Pádel Vigo teams.

Padel World Press .- They came to this competition almost by chance, to cover the loss of a team that despite having secured their place, in the end could not compete. Now, a year later and immersed in the second edition of this exciting event, they have become a clear example of how teams can be formed to play in the National Series without owning a physical padel club.

How did you know the SNPs?

I had already seen something of the competition surfing the internet. Last year we were given the opportunity to participate by replacing the withdrawal of a team. It was something improvised and although our club, Mundo Pádel Vigo, was a very young padel group, we managed to gather players. The truth is that it cost us a bit because we had to form the team in a few days, we did not have sponsors and it was not easy for us. But it was enough to leave us the feeling of playing in the National Series and the incentive to improve the following year ... That was one of our objectives: to prepare in advance the teams that would play SNP-Amstel Radler 2016.

For what purpose did you sign up this year in the SNPs?

The first objective was to create teams of players that, from the beginning, form a compact group, as well as to give the possibility of competing to all the fans who want it. Those are some of the basic foundations in which Mundo Pádel Vigo believes, in addition to enjoying paddle tennis regardless of the level. One of our goals for this season is to reach the finals in Madrid with one of our four teams.

What do you think about the format of the competition?

The current format makes the league interesting because, by offering the possibility that the first two qualified teams can challenge, it is satisfactory. If a confrontation has gone badly for you and you are in second place, you still have the possibility of going up to the top table.

Your case is special because you have 4 teams participating in the SNP-Amstel Radler but you do not own a club. How did you achieve it and how did you choose your headquarters?

First of all, because in this club we are all a team. No one is tagged for their level, or for their wins or losses. The credit is not only mine, it belongs to all the members of Mundo Pádel Vigo. We are more and more affiliated and all of them form an incredible group. Another important pillar is made up of the three captains: Iago, Sandra and Yoli. Thanks to their work, they ensure that our players enjoy and get involved in each national series match. When choosing the venue, I take into account several factors, including value for money. This year, the agreement with Vigo Pádel, with Julio, was the most advantageous for the club. Our goal for next year will be to have 6 teams in the National Series… Let Emilio and Javi get ready !!

Do you have sponsors?

Yes, although every year is a struggle. Our main sponsor, and for the second year in a row, is 'Hospital Perpetuo Socorro El Castro'. The Mexican restaurant 'Cielito Lindo' opens with us and also the event and party organizing company in Vigo 'YoSoyKanalla'. I have open negotiations I hope that thanks to this interview I will be lucky and I can reach an agreement with them. We have collaborators such as Progede, Crown Sport Nutrition, Rios Dent, Talía Jewelry, Banco Mediolanum, M4 Asesores, Footplus, Azoe Boutique, Ckg and Fiancar. Thanks to your support we can move forward as a club.

In the divisions that you participate, from the disputes fought to date, which have been your most difficult rivals?

We have crossed with good teams even though we had to start the competition from very low. I want to highlight the season of our teams and the players who have played and committed in an exemplary way, knowing how to lose and win, leaving very little along the way and reaching the top positions of the groups. We hope our rivals to get to Madrid.

How do you see the health of the amateur padel in your locality and in your province?

Very good, in ascending phase. I've been in this for a short time, about 2 and a half years. I founded Mundo Pádel Vigo because it was hard for me to find someone to play with; The groups were very closed and if you were a beginner it was much more difficult to find people with whom to enjoy this sport. For this reason, groups like Mundo Pádel Vigo helped to create fans in paddle tennis and facilitate the possibility for all players to be able to organize matches from Level 0. Now the sport is better known and everything flows much better.

What improvements would you propose to the SNPs?

The truth is that it is very well organized. I emphasize, above all, the attention and speed to immediately solve a problem. I encourage the whole family to try the competition because it is great. Thank you for giving us this opportunity and I want to thank my girlfriend Rebe, who accompanies me every weekend to support and encourage the four teams. Also to the captains Iago, Sandra and Yoli and all the players of Mundo Pádel Vigo, for forming such a spectacular and winning group.
