Co- CMD Sport They have spoken with the representatives of Bullpadel Sverige, together with those who have analyzed the great moment in which this sport happens in Swedish lands.

Padel World Press .- The heads of one of the 'decanas' firms in the paddle world did not hesitate to start their adventure in Sweden back in the 2013 year. Since that day, they have been able to see in first person how this sport has not stopped growing in every way: from the number of practitioners to facilities, etc.

As a curious note, it should be noted that, at present, the Nordic country is the second market in sales volume of this prestigious brand.

Tomas Ripstrand, head of Bullpadel in Sweden, told CMD Sport's colleagues: "It's incredible to see how the paddle practice in Sweden has evolved in the last year, surpassing all expectations. In recent months, many new clubs and tracks have opened throughout the country. It is a positive evolution that, of course, is only the beginning. "

The paddle arrived in Sweden in the 2010 year with the construction of the first track in Båstad, a town known in the world for its ATP tennis tournament. At present, there are already 20 paddle clubs scattered throughout the country, mostly concentrated in the south, in cities such as Malmö, Helsingborg, Hässleholm or Växjö. As Mauri Muñoz told us in the past, other enclosures have also been located on the west coast of the country (Gothenburg, Halmstad), east of it (Stockholm, Uppsala, Västerås) and in the north (Luleå). As if all this were not enough, Ripstrand said: "In a few months there will be more cities."

To the growth of the practice of paddle we should add the creation of a solid sports market around it. In that sense: "The 95% of sales are made in paddle clubs. The sale on the internet is still quite small but will increase little by little. At present there are two Swedish stores that sell paddle paddle, although many players buy directly on the internet from foreign stores such as Spanish stores. "

As for Bullpadel, he assured that: "It is the leading padel firm in sales in Sweden and is present in the vast majority of clubs and paddle shops throughout the country. In the last year, sales have increased more than one 100% over the budget and continue to grow. We have managed to double the sales budget and currently Sweden is already the second market in sales for Bullpadel after Spain. With the help of Team Bullpadel Sverige players we have managed to have presence in many clubs and, in addition to the range of shovels that we offer to clubs, we are also buying the Premium Pro ball, the official ball of the last World Cup, and some footwear and paleteros. We still have to convince the clubs that buy textiles ... But everything will come ".

On the presence of other brands in the Scandinavian country, Bullpadell Sverige said: "There are brands such as Drop Shot that are present and do a good job of promoting the sport. On the other hand, others like Adidas, Babolat, Head or Wilson have a rather loose role at the moment ".

To conclude, Ripstrand said: "The paddle will continue to hatch and consolidate in Sweden as more clubs and more stores are established. I can only predict a prosperous future for this market on Scandinavian soil. "
