Padel World Press .- The FEP team does not stop and just a few hours ago, through their official website they indicated that, as of March 20, one of their new Level I Paddle Monitor courses will begin. On this occasion, It will be developed in Navarra and will have collaboration with the Center for Sports Medical Studies and Research (CEIMD) of the Government of Navarra.

Through a news published on its website, the Spanish Federation reported that the registration period will be open until Friday, March 12 and that the places will be very limited (30 places of which 2 are reserved for athletes of high level or high performance).

Who can take the course

It should be noted that the Level I Paddle Monitor course is aimed at those technicians who are starting to teach paddle tennis and who seek to learn to design and carry out their training at a basic level. To be able to access it, you must be at least 16 years old and have the title of Graduate in Secondary Education (ESO) or equivalent qualification for academic purposes.

In turn, they will have to pass a specific access test in which the interested party must demonstrate that they have a sufficient level of play to pass the course. If this is not the case, enrollment may be postponed for a subsequent course or the amount already paid may be recovered. In this test, the students will have to perform a series of basic strokes in which they must direct the ball to the areas indicated by the teacher.

Course program

With a total duration of 285 hours, it will be structured in two blocks to which the internship period will be added.

Technical and tactical improvement for initiation in paddle tennis

  • Realization of practices

The practices may be carried out in clubs authorized by the Spanish Paddle Federation under the supervision of a tutor, who will be the one who organizes, supervises and certifies the performance of said practices by the student.

In order to carry out these practices, it is mandatory to have passed the specific block and to be enrolled in the common block.

Course dates calendar

The course will be held from March 20 to October 23.

  • Presentation of the course (compulsory attendance): April 9.
  • Common Block: from April 9 to May 30 at CEIMD (Center for Studies, Research and Sports Medicine).
  • Common Block Exam (ordinary call): June 19.
  • Common Block Exam (extraordinary call): September 10.
  • Specific block:
  • Access test: March 20 at La Bandeja Pádel club.
  • 1st week of the course:

Thursday 19/08/2021: 9:00 a 21:00

Friday 20/08/2021: 9:00 to 21:00

Saturday 21/08/2021: 9:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m.

Sunday 22/08/2021: 9:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m.

  • 2st week of the course:

Thursday 26/08/2021: 9:00 a 21:00

Friday 27/08/2021: 9:00 to 21:00

Saturday 28/08/2021: 9:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m.

Sunday 29/08/2021: 9:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m.

  • Examination of the specific Block (ordinary call): September 18.
  • Exam of the specific Block (extraordinary call): October 23.
