Although it is a sport that has been playing for many years in the trans-Alpine country, it did not seem to finish ... However, that situation seems to be changing and there are more and more clubs, practitioners and number of tournaments.

Padel World Press .- This is reflected in the data made public by our colleagues at El Mundo Deportivo, who say that, little by little, padel is starting to become an increasingly popular discipline. Proof of the growth you are experiencing, you already count more than 500 federated, 27 annual tests and almost 40 tracks built.

How could it be otherwise, Rome, the Eternal City, has become the main engine of this sport in Italy. For this, the role of entrepreneur Fabrizio de Romanis, a lover of Barcelona who, based on the model of the Catalan padel, has already opened clues in Rome (Flaminia Paddle Center, Ct. Parioli) and in Tuscany, has been fundamental.

One of the best examples of the country's commitment to this discipline can be found in the recent inauguration of the first paddle tennis court at the emblematic and centennial Tennis Club Parioli. Among those attending this important event were Teddy Puig and Nacho Minguella, from the sports marketing agency Publidep; David Puig and Joan Palau, responsible for the Just Ten brand; Toni Bueno, from the Royal Palm textile firm; the players Xavi Soria and Carles Adrobau; as well as Andrea Balducci, one of the main promoters of paddle tennis in Italy and based in Barcelona.

It should be remembered that Publidep, together with Fabrizio de Romanis and Andrea Balducci, have been working for a long time in the organization of a great event in Rome. We still do not have many details about it but we already know that it will have the presence of Fernando Belasteguin and Juan Martín Díaz, among other great professionals, and with familiar faces of Italian and Spanish sports. The objective is very clear: to promote the paddle in Italian lands.
