The flagship of Argentina's women's team reveals all the experiences of the combined albiceleste in a very special day ... That in which they achieved the classification for the World Championship by National Teams.
Padel World Press .- The fourth day of competition started with our debut in the National Couples Championship. At the 10: 00 hours, and together with Daniela Banchero, we beat a Portuguese pair and qualified for the second round ... After winning that match, we ran to the Son Moix Pavilion because the rest of the team was testing the Central Court and we we were the only ones missing.
After a brief but intense training and stretching session with the geniuses of La Plata, Seba Mocoroa and the teacher Balquinta, we returned to the hotel to eat early. Why the rush? Because at 15:00 p.m. we had to play the semifinal of the National Teams Championship and the transport left at 14:00 p.m.… So with almost food in our mouths, we headed to Pins Pádel, to play the tie against Chile.
They opened the series with victory Sil y Vir, we imposed ourselves in the second match while Vale-Pau added the third win ... With this, we were already in the 12th consecutive final for our country. With the homework done, we returned to the hotel where we recovered our strength with a cup of wine in which Don Satur, the classics Havannet, the Rumba and, as it could not be otherwise, the MATE.
For the dinner as a team we set up a very large table where the 14 players, the coaching staff and the great José sat down. We had a great time telling anecdotes, jokes and even making promises for a hypothetical victory for one of our two teams ... Hopefully tomorrow we will have one or two joys and we can fulfill what we promised !!
We know that we have a very complicated mission ahead of us, but we have also had it in other World Cups and we trust in our strength and enthusiasm to leave everything on the field.
On Thursday, at the 09: 00, I will face the Round of 16 of the World Cup for couples and in the afternoon we expect the hardest ... But the cutest at the same time. Playing a final of a World Championship with the albiceleste is the greatest there is. No matter the result, what can not be forgiven is not to leave the skin on each ball, spill every last drop of sweat and run until your legs hurt.
It's a final… And it's for ARGENTINA so… Impossible is nothing !!!
