For the fifth consecutive day, the player from Málaga tells us about her experiences at the World Cup ... And today has been a very special day for her: not everyone can sleep with a World Champion title under their arms.

Padel World Press .- The alarm sounded. They were the 07: 15. I got up very excited because we would finally play the World Cup final again. Four years after the experience in Cancun, we would cross our roads again with those of Argentina. I felt the morals and the energies in high places.

But before that appointment, it was time to play, in the company of Martita Ortega, the duel of the Round of 16 of the World Championship for National Couples. The match was the 09: 00, we faced a Uruguayan couple and we won it well ... We were already qualified for quarters!

We went back to the hotel, where we met and found out the line-up for the grand final ... We all sat in a circle, by the pool ... And at that moment, Jon, our coach, said that I would be on the bench ...

You can imagine it. With a stroke of the pen I fell apart ... Not being able to play representing my country in this final was the hardest thing that could happen to me and it was. All my classmates hugged me, some even cried ... But the decision was made. Very sad, I went to my room to find a why ...

I tried to disconnect and wrote a postcard to my Swedish grandmother (I write postcards from every city I travel to). Then I watched the news until lunchtime… After lunch, we went to the club and, to hide who we were playing, I had to put on the tape and get on the court. When the line-ups were given I sat in the stands and, how could it be otherwise, I cheered my team to death.

My teammates form a great team and this was demonstrated when they took the tie forward with authority. So, World Champions, I could not help but feel a bittersweet feeling: sweet to keep the cup; Sour for not being able to dispute this final, which had been waiting for four years.

We were watching the boys and then we came to the hotel to have dinner and sleep.
On Friday I have to be ready for the World Cup because we have a tough match against Alejandra and Icíar ... We want to give our best and do not doubt that I will leave everything on track

Good evening and until tomorrow ... Today I lie World Champion but ... This world cup is not over yet !!
