The past 08 of September we announced that the International Paddle Federation had accepted the candidacy presented by the Norges Tennisforbund (Norwegian Tennis Federation) and, on this occasion, we should note that the list of member countries has increased to 33 with the recent arrival in Denmark.
Padel World Press .- The good news continues to come from the IFJ, and it is that more and more countries are becoming part of a family that does not stop growing ... And that will continue to do so.
As indicated by the International Federation through its website:
"September 07 must be noted in capital letters in the great World Paddle Agenda ... And it is that during its weekly meeting, the Board of Directors of the International Paddle Federation has accepted the candidacy of the Dansk Padel Forbund (Denmark Paddle Association) .
We must remember that the Padel Denmark Association was established in the month of July by 2009 by Linda Johannsen, Flemming Lauenborg, Torben Larsen and Helle Pedersen. They were the pioneers and who first got in touch with the IFJ.
Recently, the Pádel Danish Association has held an Extraordinary General Assembly, in which it has completely changed its Board of Directors, which, as of this moment, will be composed by Álvaro Maldonado (President), Paulina Andreasson (Vice-President) , Ainhoa Richer Jørgensen (Secretary) and Maria Louise Streif Garrouj (Treasurer). We give everyone a warm welcome.
We know that there were already several clubs in Denmark that were waiting for this decision to be able to include their players in the official FIP tournaments and championships, with the aim that they could have an Official FIP Ranking, to organize official courses with the School of FIP training, to bring some official FIP tournaments to Denmark as well as to have a structure that is in charge of organizing this sport throughout the country, including the existing clubs and initiating collaborative projects with their Swedish Scandinavian colleagues, Finland and Norway
We are very happy to have a new member with us and we are already 33 !!
The central offices of the PAD are located in Odense, in the center of the country. That will be the point from which the Federation will exercise the management of padel in Denmark. "
