Padel World Press .- It was just the 09: 30 hours of the 30 in May when the Padel World Press team arrived at the Ifema facilities to begin preparing their presence for the event that will make Madrid the Padel World Capital for three intense days.
Together with the partners of TopPádel, we have a privileged space since we are located right at the entrance door, behind the Photocall of the organization ... As it says, we will be the gateway to the International Padel Show, something that fills us with pride and, in addition, will give both media a very important visibility.
With the usual last-minute rush, always running and a bit against the clock, we managed to put our booth 'nice', which will be the information point for all attendees. Not only the plans will be distributed and the doubts of the visitors will be solved, but also, the work that is carried out both in the TopPádel magazine and in our on-line newspaper will be announced.
Many and emotional reunions
How could it be otherwise, throughout the day we met with great friends. In the same door of entrance of Ifema we agree with Carles (Padel 2.0), Jose Maria Maldonado (Padel In Azuaga) and with Vicente Vidal (OchoPadel). Once inside the 7 Pavilion, we do not stop to greet old friends: Christoph Karmann (German Padel Federation), Ferrán Valls (Padel10), Ricardo Segura (Gripping Gel), Carlos Garcia (Pádel Cabanillas), Victoria and Antonio (Colors Paddle ), Alberto (The King of the Track), Guillermo Pascual (Padelmania), Raúl Rodríguez (Varlion), Daniel Patti (President of the International Federation), Jorge Gutiérrez (Vibor-A), Iván and Luis (ContraPared), ... definitively, many of the people who are already part of our family suffer.
In the 12: 30 hours, as planned, there was the cut of the tape, moment after which it was officially opened the International Paddle Show ... And there was the kick-off. The activity began to be frenetic in all tracks and the events began with a Clinic for journalists taught by Carolina Navarro.
Lotus and Akkeron conducted a test of their blades, Gaby Reca and Paquito Navarro taught a Master Class, Eli Amatriain-Patty Llaguno and the twin sisters Sánchez Alayeto carried out their respective clinics ... None of the three tracks that give life to the Hall had a minute of rest ... They will not have it throughout this weekend !! The spectacular exhibition match that faced Gaby Reca-Mista with Agustín Gómez Silingo-Arzeno and the 'Duel Gripping Gel' in which Paquito Navarro-Martita Ortega showed all their talent against Juan Martín Díaz and Alba Galán gave way to one of the main courses of the day, such as the Pro-Am organized by Varlion with the brand's celebrities (Dani García Lara, Rubén de la Red, Roberto Fresnedoso, ...).
Padel World Press, again inside the track
Around 18:15 hours, the Padel World Press team was invited by the highest representatives of Vibor-A to participate in their 'Tournament with Media' ... Giving the relief to José Luis Luna (good friend and former player of the Atlético de Madrid) and Victoria (Colors Pádel), we had to share a track with our partner from Moda & Pádel. We both measured our strengths with those of Maxi Grabiel and Rosa López, two rivals who made no concessions although, despite their victory, the score was very even… The revenge of this spectacular duel could already be brewing !!
What can we expect from Saturday's day?
It must be the 'strong day' of the Salon ... It must be the day in which the 7 Pavilion of Ifema is full from the precise moment in which it opens its doors. The program can not be more spectacular. In the early hours (11: 00) there will be a Pro-Am with numerous well-known faces, such as Bertín Osborne, Vivi Ruano, Magician Sanz, Neki Berwigg ...
There will be no missing shovel tests, exhibitions of the best players in the world, activities for children and, of course, talks and presentations both in the Navarro-Reiter Classroom and in the Fever Scenario ... In one of them, at the 16: 00 hours, Padel World Press will participate with other colleagues in a Round Table on 'Social Networks and Paddle'.
