Padel World Press - It is already a reality. Or almost. Professional sport partially resumes its activity this Monday, May 4 and begins to see the de-escalation phase enter during the global pandemic caused by COVID-19, also known as coronavirus.

And it is that it is already many weeks that normal activity has been disrupted by the global health crisis caused by the coronavirus, but now it seems that the recovery of the so-called 'new normal' is officially beginning.

A normality to which begins to enter this Monday, May 4 sport after publication of the conditions under which the activity may be resumed in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on Sunday, May 3.

According to Order SND / 388/2020 Professional sport may begin a new stage within the so-called Phase 0 and it does so together with the hospitality or trade and with extraordinary measures.

They will be professional athletes and those qualified by the Higher Sports Council (CSD) those who will be able to begin to resume their training, but will have to do it without leaving their province of residence, individually and in outdoor spaces.

Some measures that have also incorporated the presence of a coach -whenever necessary- and with the obligation to always maintain a minimum distance of two meters during the necessary training period for "the proper maintenance of sports form".

A modality in which Paddle would also be included, but with certain nuances. For the moment, and until Phase 1 of May 11, they could not reopen the sports spaces for the practice of the same, although they will be able to carry out training in another way with a special accreditation as they are considered high-level athletes.
