The final at the WPT Danish Open began with an unprecedented match between true experts in finals and a newly formed duo that each passing tournament shows that they can fight anyone. The last to suffer it, nothing more and nothing less than Ari Sanchez and Paula Jose Maria.
Bea and Delfi started without complexes. The rhythm that they put into the match disconcerted the Menorcan and the Madrid players who couldn't do anything to defend the attacks from the Spanish-Argentine duo. with hardly any flaws, delphi and bea they took the first set dealing an unexpected blow by the number two in the world (6-2).
woke up Ale and Gemma in the second set and, in a few minutes, they had already endorsed two breaks to the Spanish-Argentine duo to get a wide advantage (1-4). But Delfi and Bea reacted to the good level that the rivals were showing and discounted one of the breaks lost getting dangerously close on the scoreboard. Third and final set and the show continued. break early from Ale and Gemma that, in a few minutes, counteracted delphi and bea to tie the match 2-2. The pulsations increased like the rhythm of the game, especially on the part of delphi and bea who managed, for the first time on set, to get ahead with a break in the ninth game. And, with another one, the Spanish-Argentine duo was made, against all odds, with the title of the Danish Open 2023.
