"Hello everyone:
Like every year since I started to study the career of CCAFyD, in March, the University Championship of Madrid was played again. I've been playing for four years with a good friend, as is Pablo García, with whom I did not miss the appointment at this 2015.
For several years we have stayed at the gates of the title, with two finals and a semifinal. On this occasion, which would mean my last participation, we managed to win the victory.
We started playing on Tuesday, in the first round. On Wednesday, we exceeded two other commitments to achieve the goal of planting in the semifinals. That duel was played on Thursday morning and, with great solidity, we won by a double 6-2 to Peñalva-Díaz.
The final was very tough. At noon, we had to face Sergio Alba and Roberto López. After a vibrant clash, full of alternatives and excitement, we won with three sets: 7-5, 3-6 and 6-3.
What can I say? I am very happy to have said goodbye to this tournament, a test in which the good atmosphere and sportsmanship are always present ... And, of course, I would not like to say goodbye without congratulating my partner, Pablo, who played a torneozo .
