Padel World Press .- In this new post, we will talk about the angles we use when we play and how to make the most of them. To begin, it should be noted that opening an angle at the right time will give us an opportunity to put the opposite pair in a bind and could even get our rivals to make a mistake.

We are going to mark two very important premises for this section: opening an angle will generate that the opponent will have more facility to return us with greater angle for us and, in turn, the ball will go slower when we play with an angle. This is because when the ball bounces, it will slow down and have less depth. In addition, the important factor that represents that we have less track space than towards the bottom should not be overlooked, so we will have to accommodate the speed at which we execute the blow with our shovel.

We will start with the variant of generate angles from the network. At this point we must bear in mind that opening an angle will significantly decrease our ball speed and will cause that if the opponent reaches it well, it is in front of the body and allows him to make an easy hit. If the ball goes to the bottom of the court, the advantage meters that we have added to that the bottom wall does not cut laterally, the trajectory of the ball allows us to maintain the speed better and the opponent needs to leave with it towards ahead. However, when we do it with the lateral one, it slows down and in the case of the amateur player generates confusion due to the change of direction and rebounds. For the advanced player and with better ball reading it is usually an easier ball to play.

We will have to adapt these blows to situations where we can really hurt the opponent and involve some difficulty in the return. The angles to which we will take more advantage will be: the most complicated, which is with a rebound in the grid and which, in addition to displacing the opponent, will have to play with the irregular rebound, and the one on the side wall, which will leave the ball very close to the back wall making it difficult to return.

We continue with lto variant at the bottom of the track. Although it is not a very steep angle, and depending on the point of impact almost a parallel ball, opening the ball towards the center of the court will always allow us to decrease the angles from which we can attack and play with the decision factor of the opposites about who should go for it.

From here comes into play one of the blows that, although at first it seems that it will allow us to define the point (or at least give us a substantial advantage), if we do not choose well the moment can turn against us. When we have the ball near the side wall, and the opponents close the angles approaching the ball, a space is generated on the other side of the court. In principle, the play is clear: If I hit the ball with my shovel, the opponents will not have many options to return it. On the other hand, if we do not choose the right moment, the ball will have to cross the whole track and, above all, we will have a very high risk that we will pass and end up sending it to the fence. That is why we will have to lower the speed a lot and, with this, we will allow the rivals to close the position with a step and take advantage of our blow to generate an offensive volley or even a low shot.

To conclude, we must remember how to cover the angles in the network. For this we can help from previous posts where we explain the known as 'windshield', which allows us to cover the angles in the network in the most efficient way. The parameters are the same for both sides of the network, so what helps us attacking can harm us defending. It is important that we make a database on the situations that are advantageous / unfavorable to be able to use them in our favor when they are presented to us.
