To begin with, Patty Llaguno-Eli Amatriain did not give their rivals options and, with firm steps, they knew how to make the most of their opportunities to defeat Alba Galán-Mari Carmen Villalba 6-3 and 6-2.
On the other hand, Marta Marrero-Cata Tenorio achieved an important triumph that took them to the semifinals in the first tournament of their second stage as companions. Very solid and concentrated from start to finish, they were imposed by 6-2 and 6-1 by Carla Mesa-Maite Gabarrús.
Just then, Marta Ortega-Ari Sánchez crossed again with Lucia Sainz-Gemma Triay but, this time, they managed to take the victory. The brand new winners of Santander Open and Murcia Challenger were imposed by 6-1 and 6-3.
