They had a very complicated duel ahead but their goal was very clear: fight each point with maximum intensity. Despite losing the first set against Matías Díaz-Maxi Sanchez, they did not lower their arms at any time and achieved a spectacular victory, with which they qualified for their first semifinal as teammates.

Padel World Press .- The young player from Cádiz once again showed that, continuing with the path he had already started at 2016, he never stopped growing in all respects. He had many illusions deposited in his new adventure with Aday Santana and, for the moment, things have started very well for them.

In the Santander Open they showed a great level of play until they were defeated in the quarterfinals by Miguel Lamperti-Maxi Grabiel (6-1, 6-7 and 7-5). For his part, Chiqui returned to shine with his own light in the Challenger Memorial José Martínez, where he achieved the victory in the company of Franco Stupaczuk.

Already in Miami, the pupils of Horacio Álvarez Clementi did not take long to demonstrate their good rapport within the track and they were surpassing all their rivals until reaching the duel in which they measured their forces with those of the current number 3 of the WPT Ranking.

In a vibrant clash and full of alternatives, Aday and Chiqui were able to overcome a set against and defeated by 4-6, 6-3 and 6-3 to Matías Díaz-Maxi Sanchez.

Very happy for the triumph, the young player from Cádiz pointed out through his social networks:

“The image speaks for itself 🙏😜… # never stop believing little.

The team is very happy after this move to the semifinals. I can only thank my two sufferers and faithful colleagues: @adaysantafe and our sensei @alvarezclementi

On Saturday, at 17:30 p.m. (23:30 p.m. in Spain), we will play the semifinals of the @miamipadelmasters @worldpadeltour_oficial. We will face the number 2 of the tournament, Paquito Navarro and Sanyo Gutiérrez… You will be able to follow him live through its website.
