Before their audience, wrapped up from start to finish, José Carlos Gaspar and Momo González gave the big surprise of the day at the Central Court of the Be Life Club, where they managed to qualify for the next round of Pre-Previa.

José Carlos Gaspar is from Malaga: Momo González, Antequera. Both have 17 years and have already lived their first great afternoon in the professional world. Directed from the bench by Guillermo Demianiuk, they defeated Iñigo Zaratiegui-Claudio Loebarth for 6-7, 6-4 and 6-4. Without a doubt, it was the most spectacular clash of this first day of the fifth round of this season.

As an anecdote, it should be noted that there was a double WO for the non-appearance of any of the couples. Cristian Fuster and Enrique Lagarejos, the two injured, did not show up for a date they had to face. This situation benefited Antonio Muñoz and José David Sánchez, who beat Hugo Cases-Richard Brooks (7-6, 6-7 and 6-2) and qualified directly for the last round of the Pre-Preview.

On the morning of Monday, 21 of July, the second round of the qualifying round will be decided and, already in the afternoon shift, the name of the eight pairs that will access the Pre-Round will be known. The morning meetings will start at 10: 00 hours while, those at afternoon, they will start at 18: 00.
