It is often said that this or that sport moves passions ... And to that list, without any doubt, we should begin to add the paddle. Since Adidas Paddle They tell us the story of Axel, an amateur willing to travel the country from end to end (with round trip) to enjoy his favorite sport.

Padel World Press .- A total of 860 kilometers separate Bilbao from Seville. That was the distance that the protagonist of this story and his companion traveled to live the experience of being an Adidas Paddle VIP.

Do not miss the history of Axel, who got on the bus on Saturday night to get to the Pabellón San Pablo in the beautiful Andalusian city early in the morning and, with it, enjoy the grand finale of EstRella Damm Sevilla Open as a true VIP.

“I was on Facebook when I saw that Adidas Pádel took out the Contest to be an Adidas Pádel VIP in the Final of the Seville tournament. I set out to be one of the ten winners and, when asked 'What would you be willing to give up to be an Adidas Paddle VIP?' It occurred to me to answer that to my grandmother's meals, which are the most.

I did not know if I would finally be one of those chosen because there were very good responses and during the duration of the Contest there were participants who were ahead of me. In the end, I sighed calmly, I slipped into the tenth position and received confirmation from Adidas Pádel that I was one of the winners. Ole !!

Okay, I had won a double ticket to go to Seville on Sunday. And now ... How do I go from one day to the next from Bilbao to Seville? I started thinking about it and looking at options. Between expensive flights, renting a car and going without sleep or fourteen hours of bus, I kept the latter. And everything for a weekend? Well yes, the madness of paddle tennis.

The bus left at the 20: 15 from Bilbao Station. We went through Vitoria, Burgos and Madrid to rest and eat something. The trip became heavy but after passing the capital it was all a little lighter. There was less road and the bus was emptying little by little. It was noticeable in the sky that it was dawning and it was nice to see. Since I did not hit the eye, at least I had good views!

As the day dawned, my desire to arrive grew. We finally arrived in Seville at 10:15. I got off the bus and David, from Adidas Pádel, was waiting for me with a 'Puntako!' in hand ... Good! With my face from not having slept, I couldn't help but get a smile as I was dying of shame. Everything was recorded.

David took us to the pavilion and there, on the outskirts of São Paulo, I met the other winners of the Contest, the hostesses and Ana, the Marketing Manager of Adidas Pádel, who began to give us gifts and explain what the experience consisted of .

After all the VIPS were already there, we went to San Pablo, which was still to be opened to the public. They let us know the track and we took a thousand photos so that we always have the memory of this day. Once the Final started, we were in the Adidas Paddle VIP Zone and I see the World Padel Tour presenter approaching and, like someone who doesn't want it, she puts the microphone on me and interviews me… Andrea Ballester live !! Come on, I just missed a rally with Sanyo or Bela.

The match did not last long. Bela and Lima were a wall for Sanyo-Juani and, before that, little can be done. The opportunity to see these cracks live is fascinating, wonderful, they make it so easy. When it was over, I wanted to take a picture with Belasteguín and Sanyo, my two favorite players of the Final, but it narrowly escaped me, although I could be with Miguel Sciorilli, the coach of Bela and Lima, the culprit that these two players they are devastating.

At the end of the Final, we went to the Stand and began to say goodbye to the Adidas Pádel team and all the VIPS colleagues, lovely people that I had the opportunity to meet. It was time to start looking for a hotel to stay on Sunday night.

From here I want to thank Eugenia and her husband for helping us and getting us there, thank you very much. On that day we took the opportunity to visit Seville and do tourism and the next day back home. Other 14 hours, but with an exceptional human memory.

I encourage all of you who read this to participate in the Adidas Pádel Contests and if you have the opportunity and you doubt, go for it. I lived an incredible weekend and I want to thank Adidas Pádel for making me live everything mentioned and in particular all those who made it possible there in Seville: Ana, Sergio, Julio, David, Jordi, hostesses, assistants and all the VIPS . Thank you!

In a few days the World Padel Tour comes to my land with the Euskadi Open so… We will see each other again !!

Axel. "
