Padel World Press .- The dispute of the Masters Finals has meant the closure of an atypical campaign, in which everything has been different and in which we have had to live with a 'new reality'… And the changes have been even more important for Carolina Navarro who, in the final stretch of the campaign, has had to compete without her inseparable Ceci Reiter, due to a serious injury.

Next, we leave you with the text with which the Malaga woman wanted to summarize everything she experienced in 2020:

«They say that when you give everything you have, even if you lose, it is already a victory.

When you are an elite athlete, what you see on the day of the competition, under the watchful eye of the public and the spotlights shining on you, is actually, a tiny part of all the daily work that is done to get to that moment.

I can say that this invisible job to be able to be on the track of the Master competing yesterday has been one of the hardest of my entire career.

I've been suffering from lumbar problems for years that, at certain moments (luckily not very often) they sharpen and upset my plans.

I have learned to live with pain because, as Rafa Nadal said in his last interview, As athletes over the years we train and compete feeling discomfort practically daily but the stubbornness that we bring as standard makes us keep going.

These last weeks were more complicated because I had been dragging pain since the last 2 tournaments. But I have the peace of mind of having done everything that has been in my power together with my team and the doctors to be able to be on the track and give the best I had despite the discomfort.

After such a hard year at all levels, I would have liked to be able to enjoy the Master's award 100% but it is not always possible. Even so, I feel fortunate to have had the award of being in the Masters Tournament for one more year.

I want to congratulate Gemma Triay and Lucia Sainz, who are at a superlative level this year and yesterday they were intractable.

From here I want to thank you Aranza Osoro Ulrich for agreeing to play with me these last tournaments of the year, for making the effort to come to Madrid to train together, for your struggle, for your dedication in each game and for your claw ... Now I understand about 'Vikinga', hahaha. I wish you all the best in your new stage with Victoria.

And of course, thank you team, for not letting go and trusting that I could play, your drive and confidence in me gave me those vital forces 😊 ”.
