Padel World Press .- Through a news item published on their website, the WPT confirmed that their commitment to both the Autonomous Community of Cantabria and the Santander City Council had been extended, so the presence of at least one test was ensured until 2023.
Very satisfied with this important step, all parties agreed that it is a sample of the good harmony and existing collaboration, in pursuit of continue promoting the development of a sport whose number of practitioners continues to grow throughout the entire Cantabrian coast.
Cantabria and its capital, Santander, thus consolidate a preferential position in the Professional Circuit, in which they already accumulate the recent and successful experience of hosting both an Open (in 2017) and the WOpen in 2019, held in the Albericia Pavilion. At the moment, they are hosting the Santander Open 2021.
As noted from WPT: “We want to thank all the institutions and agents of Cantabria involved in this new project whose signature will allow the reunion of this hobby with World Padel Tour over the next few seasons.
