The FIP 2018 Senior World Championship begins to take shape

Padel World Press .- In the face of this 2018, the FIP Calendar will feature a new competition that was born with the aim of becoming a reference in the world of paddle tennis: We refer to the Senior World Championship, a new tournament dedicated to couples and national male and female teams formed by players over 35 years, which will have its 1st Edition in Spain under the protection of the International Padel Federation.

Last 28 on Saturday, several members of the Organizing Committee They visited the different venues in which the appointment will take place, distributed in the Costa del Sol cities of Estepona and Benahavis. In this stay, they could see first-hand that the preparations for this first Senior World Championship go 'wind in the stern' and, in that way, they returned with very good feelings in order to achieve the goal of offering a first level tournament.

The final dates for the celebration of the Championship, which will take place at the beginning of October, were also confirmed. from day 08 to 13. It will have the presence of 14 National Teams among whose representatives we can see in action authentic legends of this wonderful sport, all of them willing to get one more title for their record.

The competition, as it was officially done a few weeks ago, will be divided into two tournaments: by Selection and by National Couples. Inside there will be a total of 5 Categories Male and 3 Feminine, which will be determined by the age of the components: + 35, + 40, + 45, + 50, + 55 in the case of men; + 35, + 40, + 45, for women.

Undoubtedly, it will be an unprecedented event that, in addition to the support of the FIP, will offer all participants the best conditions ...
