Greetings, fellow runners and paddle lovers. Once again we landed in the pages of Padel World Press invited by their director to reflect the sensations that a shovel has left us that caused a sensation in the past Christmases, date in which it was presented.
Padel World Press.- A few months ago, the Bullpadel brand had the wonderful idea of producing a 'Limited Edition' of one of its fetish paddles, the Vertex, directed and designed for its player Maxi 'El Tiburon' Sánchez, member of the 3 number of the WPT Ranking.
As a result of this initiative was born a model that they baptized as 'Bullpadel Vertex Limited Series', with a personalized and special design, which is accompanied with some interesting touches of style as, for example, its total cover of which we will talk later.
The testing time that we have used on this racket has been very extensive and we have made the most of it ... We have even had a small mishap trying to reach some tight balls, which does not allow us to say that in terms of durability we will give it a 10 because at no time have we noticed an aesthetic defect in it that has not been caused by our bad leg. Great in this regard and he will not be the only one to whom we will give the highest marks.
We start now with the product in hand.
And what better to start with a section that fell in love at first sight.
The shovel, as we have already mentioned, is a Limited Edition based on the franchise player, Maxi Sánchez, for which the brand wanted to honor its nickname on the track, 'El Tiburón', to design an original cover that you will never see in no other shovel.
The cover is hard, with the shape of the 'torpedo' carried by lifeguards on the beach. It has a handle on the top very comfortable with the inscription Bullpadel in red, whose main face consists of the 'B' characteristic of the brand with the name Bullpadel in relief, all with a carbon design. In turn, it includes the logo, signature and name of Maxi Sánchez in red. 'Danger: Sharks on the coast'.
The reverse of the case has the Vertex inscription in relief. The cover opens like a suitcase by means of a sealed zipper and the interior is covered with a material that is soft to the touch and with elastic fasteners so that the blade is fixed in the cover, in short, if we were to make a simile with a house, this cover It would be a true 'Mansion for the Shovel'.
How will it be, that makes you want to carry the shovel in the case rather than in the pallet ... A detail OF 10!
Once we get a little blink and relax our face of surprise, it's time to take the shovel inside and continue with the joy of having it in your hand.
The blade is matte tones, with a carbon-like background on the face in which invades on the left the famous 'B' in red, all combined with golden stripes on the sides of the blade and a gray serious in the songs and bridge of it. By the way, the bridge is aesthetically brutal, with a very sporty design.
We continue with the pleasant surprises ... The handle or fist of the shovel is medium in size but with an original grip with a wider thickness than usual, so we can assure you that the amount of overgrip that will have to be placed will be less than the ones we are used to. In our case it will stay with one (sometimes none) and it also has a fairly comfortable touch.
Its shape is diamond and another detail that we love is the rope attachment, as it comes to bracelet type with the name of the blade embroidered on it. For us, without a doubt, it is the best subject. The weight of the blade is balanced to the center, something that will help to combine the control and the power.
In terms of aesthetics and design, we can only place it as a top shovel ... Among the TOP !!

Once we relax the aesthetic enthusiasm, you know that we always start the test with the rally in the bottom. In this area it is a very easy to handle shovel, with a medium touch and a powerful sound.
Its sweet spot is very broad. We would say that it occupies the whole of the shovel and that the control is unbeatable, so we can put the ball where we want without any fear. The exit of ball is average, reason why it is not necessary to do much effort to pass the ball to the other field. It is not a demanding shovel, it is easy to attach to it and is suitable for all types of players.

In the volleys is where we get a great game to this shovel and the first thing that catches a lot of attention is a brutal sound! that rumbles on the track in each hit to nothing that we accelerate the ball.
Thanks to its sweet spot, its control and its medium touch, the truth is that volleying is a real luxury with this Vertex Limited. Without a doubt, it's your best hit: aggressive 100%.
We can throw from one side of the track to another and with different speeds, without fearing that the ball goes crazy we hit practically with what we hit. A show the volleys, and why not, the left ... We can see the fear reflected in the face of our rivals.
And with these great volleys it is rare that we do not provoke a short balloon, in which we will not hesitate to apply our smash. It was a blow in which we had put all our sights but that left us a little half.
The Vertex Limited doesn't have a lot of power despite the sound coming from its throat. It is, as it were, an explosion but without the shock wave that follows it. With good technique, of course we will bring the ball to us without any problem ... But it will not give us any extra to our arm and we will have to put a little desire in each hit. Therefore, removing the x3 ball will be the best option coupled to this racket, since to exert the effect and proper direction the control of this model will be a perfect ally.
With a good balloon of our rival we will pass to our tray… WHAT IF; this is another one of those who like to do with this shovel.
Sweet spot, control, fair ball exit and a lot, a lot of security in each impact are the ingredients that will make our trays a masterstroke as soon as we have a correct execution. In addition, and together with the volleys, the feeling that we will have to be able to squeeze as much as we want with this hit will make our confidence go through the roof and that the rival hesitate to continue playing us from above. If our thing is to pull the viper, you already know that the effects with this model are perfect ... Squeezing the ball a lot will mean an explosion ... And this time with dynamite !!
If we let the ball run we will have the wall outlet. In this type of blows we will have an endless number of variants in our blade to reach an advantageous execution of each exit. It is true that we will miss a little more that has more ball output or more power to save us from one or the other stumble but, in general, it is a shovel that we can use as a barricade at the bottom of the track and as a shield in the network blocking all kinds of hacks that throw us. In this last section, that of blockades, we can secure the ball and give direction to them so that their attack may become our victory.
In summary…
Of aesthetics, we can not give it anything other than a TEN. A very careful finishes, very elaborate details and a case that, although many do not use, will make our shovel rest in the best of the palace rooms. Bravo to Bullpadel for these details that give the brand its name.
It is a shovel with good control, a huge sweet spot and a very high gameplay, which will delight any type of amateur, whatever level they are.
Its sound is brutal and will attract the attention not only of our rivals but of everyone who is close to our track ... And if not, remember what I tell you when you try it.
However it is not a shovel with a good power so for those who look for a plus in this section or a 'poker' model, it is not the shovel that we will recommend. In this aspect it is a bit fair even though it will sound a brutal rumble in each impact.
The volleys and trays are for us their best blow, with those who wear it will be delighted again and again, wanting to give it harder and stronger but, eye, it should not be overlooked that with effects and placement also we can enjoy and hurt our rival.
Diamond shape, medium touch, balanced weight, easy to play and, therefore, quick to adapt. It brings a lot of security in every beating and it's pretty ... Very pretty.
For all the above, the BULLPADEL VERTEX LIMITED and that brutal sound that we highlight, make we can call it the 'EXPLOSION' with which we will frighten our rivals. Although the power is not its greatest virtue, the attack will be its maximum expression.
