Between the 12 and 20 days of November, on the tracks of the Club Vita 10, the last test of the XXª Edition of the most veteran competition of the Spanish paddle took place. It was the golden brooch to a campaign full of surprises, of novelties and of which, as the organizers pointed out: "We can not be more satisfied with the balance of it".

Padel World Press .- It could not be said otherwise of an event that averaged 520 enrolled in each tournament of 9 days and that had more than 1.400 players in the 19 'Express' tests that were organized throughout the campaign.

Among the main novelties put in place, both the Veteran Tournaments and the Team Competition should be highlighted.

And what could be highlighted from the last appointment of this 2016? Inside the tracks, the participants gave themselves to the maximum and offered a great show, like the one that could be seen in their 1st Men's Draw. In it, Sergio Alba-Kike Lagarejos added a new victory after beating Raúl Arias-Willy Castañón 6-1 and 6-2 in the grand final. On the other hand, in the Female Queen Category, Isabel Domínguez-Marta Talaván took the title by defeating Esther Lasheras-Marta Castro (6-3 and 6-1) in the decisive match. As a curiosity, it should be noted that 'las Martas' met for the first time in a final, after forming a couple for many years.

With respect to the 'Race of Champions', which adds the points achieved individually by each player in his way through the 9 days, the first classified were Raul Arias and Alicia Berl. Raúl accumulated one victory, four finals, one semifinal and one eighths while Alicia won five victories and one final. As a reward, both can enjoy a trip for two to a test of the World Paddle Tour 2017 Tour within the national territory of the peninsula.

As for the Express Tournaments, with Ranking in the three modalities, the winners were Juan Polo in the Men's, Maribel Muñoz in the Women's and Jorge Pavón-Rosa Pavón in the Mixed. All of them will be able to enjoy the best padel in the Masters Finals WPT.

By and for all

As always stressed by their top managers, for the Estrella Damm Circuit is very important the loyalty shown by their players and therefore, one more season, raffled a trip for two people to a test of the WPT 2017 within the national territory of the peninsula among 21 fans who played a minimum of eight nine-day events or who were present at 12 or more Express Tournaments. The prize went to Francisco Javier Espinosa (9 nine days contested tests).

Cristina Fernández-Cid, Circuit Director, declared: "The Circuit is the sum of many efforts. We would like to thank the great work done by the referees judges who have accompanied us during this edition, the welcome by the clubs, the great work of Camera en Mano, the service provided by StarVie, Knee and the rest of suppliers, the collaboration of the Paddle Federation of Madrid, as well as the attention that Yolanda Álvarez and María Cozar have given to all the fans in the permanent marquee of Estrella Damm, where everyone has been able to taste the different products of the brand. They are key pieces to maintain the quality standards we are looking for ".

When will its XXIª Edition begin? Although there are still no confirmed dates, everything seems to indicate that it will be in the month of February of 2017. Until then, the Circuit will keep in touch with its followers through its social networks, which experienced a spectacular increase during this year. The case of Facebook is very significant, in which the number of 'Like' doubled as well as the interaction on the part of the fans.

With no room for rest, the team of this prestigious competition has already started up to overcome again and to offer a reference point of reference for all the paddle lovers of the Community of Madrid.
