Our teammate Daniel Gamarra Peñalver is one of the many people who have already read the biography of the great Pehaujó player. Just after 'devouring' his last page, he wanted to share with all the fans how it has been the experience of 'getting to know more closely' one of his great idols.

Padel World Press .- From the same morning I found out that Valen Bailon had written a biography about my idol, I knew that this book would end up being part of my library, of my life.

I have to say that before reading this story my opinion about Bela was identical to that of many fans of the sport ... Simply, the best paddle player in the world.

However, once I read his biography, in a matter of a couple of days, I had the sensation of knowing more closely the best player of my beloved sport.

Thanks to this passionate story, I discovered some of Fernando's childhood anecdotes, with which I had the pleasure of laughing. I remember with special joy the scene of the disco labels or the 'flying scallops'.

The story managed to move me with those painful family farewells, lived by the boy who would later be one of the best paddle tennis players in history. Who said it would be easy?

Thanks to this passionate story, and to Juan Martin Díaz, I was able to learn what it means to be a true professional as well as a good friend and partner, bearing witness to the strong ties that are established between a true padel couple.

The book has made me know the importance of family in an athlete, the eternal value of friendship or the feeling of pride in knowing that you have given everything, without leaving you absolutely nothing.

'Bela: This is my story' not only reveals the life of a professional athlete but, in turn, also shows us a path full of values and behaviors that have led Belasteguín to be who he is on and off the track during his more than two decades of professional career.

Fernando, I sincerely hope that the day will come when the paddle will give back everything you have given him.

On a personal note, I would like to encourage you to buy this book because with it, in addition to enjoying one of the best sports biographies of all that I have read, you will be helping many boys who need it ... And it is that all the money raised by this book will go to three charitable causes: the Ronald McDonald Children's Foundation, the El Futuro de Pehuajó Bakery and the Fernando Belasteguín Special Paddle School.
