At the beginning of the day, well-known duos from the circuit met at the facilities of the Palais des Sports (or sports palace) Andre Brouat in the aforementioned French town. For its part, Fernando Belasteguín and Arturo Coello also reached the victory. Two sleeves were also enough to Álvaro Cepero and Pablo Lijó that elegantly imposed themselves on Juanlu Esbri and Javier Barahona by 6-3 and 6-4.
