It's official. The Professional Circuit has 'signed' the prestigious sports journalist as the new Director of Communication. Experience and great vision to ensure that this wonderful sport continues to grow.

Padel World Press .- With extensive and extensive experience in many of the main media of our country, the Madrid will face this new challenge in his career with a clear objective: to achieve a better positioning of the WPT circuit in the media.

At the age of 49, Ángel Rodríguez started on RadioCadena Española in 1986, to later continue on Radio Nacional de España (RNE). In 1992 he joined the Radio Antena 3 team, from where he went on to Cadena Ser. There he dealt with information about Atlético de Madrid, occasionally presenting the programs 'Ser Deportivos' and 'El Larguero'.

In 2002, he joined Onda Cero, a station where he directed the sports area and presented the program 'Al primer toque' for five seasons.

Present at the Soccer World Cups in France, Korea-Japan and Germany; at the 2000 and 2008 Euro Cups as well as at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games, he served as a special envoy for several editions of the Tour de France.

Very excited about his new challenge, he said: "World Pádel Tour is a consolidated Circuit but with a very important growth power in all areas. I am excited about the project and can help with my experience to a sport like padel, so that the 4 millions of practitioners, and those who still are not, can enjoy the best paddle in the world ".

Ángel is one of those 4 million practitioners of this sport that continues to grow and confessed that he became hooked on professional paddle tennis: "When I saw the spectacular plays of the professionals live."
