In 2011, after his time in the Professional Sections of Barcelona, the Italian set himself a challenge: to contribute to the growth of paddle tennis in Italy ... And he is already achieving it.

Padel World Press .- Italian but resident for many years in Spain, he has spent more than a quarter of a century enjoying his passion for paddle tennis. After taking the shovel for the first time in 1988, he soon realized that this sport would have enormous potential in transalpine lands, due to the great similarities between both countries (climate, culture, etc). The existence of just 10 tracks throughout the national territory motivated that Andrea wanted to transfer all their know-how in the world of paddle.

From that precise moment, he began to establish relationships with people from Milan, Bologna, Rome, etc… Despite living in Barcelona, his work towards the growth and development of this discipline in Italy has been very important, despite the fact that he preferred that his name was always in the shadows ... What mattered most to him was to make the paddle more and more known and popular in his country.

Throughout 2014, it has consolidated its relationship with Paddle Milano (the club of which it is a part, with which it plays and collaborates), in addition to having launched two sports projects in Tuscany and Sardinia or collaborating with a club in Rome ... Considered as a bridge, as a 'connecting link' between Spain and Italy, it does not stop receiving calls from Spanish companies in the sector that want to enter the Italian market, as well as from some Italian sports entrepreneurs, who want to start new clubs .

This summer, the famous Resort Forte Village (which was awarded as the best Resort in the world in the last 16 years) decided to bet on paddle tennis and installed its first court in the Tennis Area of its famous Sport Accademy ... Such is the importance of this complex that in football they have agreements with Chelsea, in basketball with CSKA Moscow and, in tennis, it has famous protagonists such as Pat Cash, Paul Haarhuis, Jonas Bjorkman, Claudio Mezzadri, ...

Contribute their experience and knowledge

Andrea Balducci passed through these facilities at the end of July, once the track was finished, and his balance could not have been more positive ... Especially, if one takes into account that it was the first track in Sardinia, in which the paddle tennis was a complete stranger.

The type of public in this luxury resort is rotating every one or two weeks and the prices are of very high target, like everything in Forte Village (80 euros rent of one hour of track and 100 euros per class). Many of the practitioners who know this new sport are Russian but there are also London clients, etc.

If you consider that Forte Village is a true paradise to enjoy holidays, it is not surprising that there are many familiar faces that pass through it every year. Among them, and as regular paddle tennis players, we can highlight the footballers Alberto Aquilani and Cristian Brocchi, the famous showman Rosario Fiorello; the former Swedish tennis player Jonas Bjorkman (who was champion of doubles in all the Grand Slam: Wimbledon, Roland Garros, Australia and US Open), or the former Italian tennis player Mara Santangelo.

What is Andrea's role? Launching a new project at a global level, in charge of managing the rental of the track, giving introductory classes to this sport, organizing tournaments and events ... Without a doubt, it will be a different management concept since, by counting With a single court, you cannot do loyalty work ... Unless it is done with the employees of this tourist complex, who are already true lovers of paddle tennis.
