The Madrid player continues to take steps forward on her way to recover from the serious knee injury that occurred in the grand final of the Valladolid Open. Just two weeks after going through the operating room, the 'fierita' reveals how its rehabilitation works.

Padel World Press .- Without losing her smile, faithful to that spirit of constant improvement that has allowed her to overcome each and every one of the hard setbacks she has had to suffer throughout her career, Alejandra Salazar faces with optimism the work of recovery that will make her return with more strength to the competition in the 2018 season.

The past 16 of August, the member of HEAD Pádel Rebel Team He successfully underwent an operation to correct the total tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and the Grade II-III sprain of the internal lateral ligament of his left knee, after which he began the 'second stage' in the way he still must travel to return to the tracks.

Through his social networks, Ale is sharing with fans how is the day to day in the rehabilitation process. What will you have told us on this occasion?

"Good morning to everybody!

As you can see, I do not separate myself from the crutches, which will accompany me day and night during the first weeks.

I am beginning to be able to support my foot and every day I work my extension a lot in different exercises.

Regarding the flexion, I already left the operation with 90 degrees, thanks to the pre-operative work. Those are the grades I must achieve in the first month… So… A goal accomplished! ✌

I have marked small goals that I hope to achieve as well as 'homework' that my physio sends me to do at home.

I've taken advantage of the weekend a lot while watching the tournament and cheering for Marta so I'm being very obedient 😆 😆 😆

Step by step! Slowly but surely! WE FOLLOW!

Kisses 💋
