She is one of the most determined players in the world. Together with Marta Marrero, she forms an 'almost unbeatable' duo, which in this 2016 has conquered 7 titles in the World Paddle Tour Circuit. In addition to ascending to the first position of the WPT Ranking, they have also achieved the victory both in the World Cup for Couples and for National Teams. Padel World Press .- Although she has been dedicated to paddle all her life, the evolution and growth experienced by Madrid in recent seasons has been spectacular. At his 30 years, with a great maturity both personal and professional, Ale maintains his desire to continue improving and exceeding his own limits.
For many, it has the best right of the Professional Circuit and if we add the tremendous potential of Marta Marrero, it is not surprising that they are the pair 'to beat' for all their rivals.

2016 will be an unforgettable year, in which you reached the 1 number of the WPT Ranking, you won the double crown in the World Cup or you were Champion of Spain by Autonomous Selections among many other milestones. How would you rate this campaign?
We faced it with great enthusiasm from the beginning since last year we ended up with very good sensations and more and more coupled. The idea was to continue enjoying and go more and more interpenetrating. The truth is that the year started very well in Valencia, then I had my pneumothorax scare before the Spanish Championship, but from then on things got better and better. Although the twins could take three consecutive tournaments, the streak that we took at the end testifies to our great moment. I think it was the best year of my life and I think Marta's too. As you say, it will be a year that we will not forget. Still hopefully we can say that other years have been the best and not only do not stay with this.
You have added your third World Cup by Selections. What has been the coexistence with a new group but in which you knew each other quite well?
Yes, well, we had new partners, as in the case of Gemma, Lucía and Marta as well. With the others I had already shared at least one World Championship and the truth is that we all know each other well on the Circuit. There is very good tuning. Added to the captain Icíar, who has been my partner and with whom I maintain a very good relationship, came out a fantastic week, in which we had a great time.
You have been able to add to your record a title that you lacked, that of World Champion for Couples, without conceding a set in the whole tournament and defeating two Spanish couples in the semifinals and final. How did you face that test?
We face it as a WPT more. As is evident, the conditions were not the same due to audience issues, track conditions and other elements but well, in the end you have to abstract yourself from all those circumstances, know that you are representing your country and be mentally strong for to be able to face a week full of encounters. We compete with the certainty that we had to adapt to all those circumstances and we were able to take the win, with which, very happy.
As you said, you were under the command of an old partner like Icíar Montes. What was it like to have her by your side as a coach this time?
For me, personally, very positive… Also, having been my partner, she knows me very well, so she could help me a lot. As she says, she cannot get into technical corrections, so she has given us her full support. It is a more emotional figure than anything else, as she transmitted to us. It helped us a lot.
Marta and you have had an incredible progression as a couple in just two years. Do you still have room for improvement or have you almost reached your competitive limit?
No, I think we still have room for improvement ... Now we have to polish many details, which is true that it takes much longer because, when you reach a level as high as the one we have achieved, any change costs double ... And is that the corrections are very thorough. We will also have to see how our rivals respond and we will also work with that. We should take advantage of those challenges that other couples pose to us to make ourselves stronger and more complete. In that, Marta also has a lot of room for improvement, having only been competing for five years.
Finally, Alejandra. A wish you have for 2017?
My desire in the end, after the things that happen, is health and that we respect the injuries. With this, we can continue enjoying what we like the most: the paddle.
