Padel World Press - Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay show their best version in the final against Paula Jose Maria and Ari Sanchez to proclaim themselves winners of the WPT Santander Open and get his eighth title of the season.

The final began in World Padel Tour Santander Open among the two best couples in the world, Ari Sanchez and Paula Jose Maria against Alejandra Salazar and Gemma Triay that they needed another title to try and regain number one.

Ari and Paula started the game with an early break to make it 2-0 on the scoreboard, a result that they would equal Gemma and Ale in the two subsequent games. The number two took a run and dealt another blow to Paula and Ari in the form of break in the sixth game with an incredible display of padel. Ale very solid at the bottom of the court and Gemma bet on a fast and aggressive game. Other break more for the number two and they put the game on track with a forceful 6-3 in the first manga.

The second set started differently and this time it was Ale and Gemma those who hit first with a break in the first minutes of the set, 2-0 for the Menorcan and the Madrilenian. Ari and Paula were trying to stop the attacks of the number two but they were playing incredible padel, strong in defense and with a super tight point of view for the final blows.

Ale and Gemma broke the serve of their rivals again and put the 3-1 on the scoreboard, Paula and Ari still couldn't face a couple that recovered their best level and were still unleashed. Finally the set ended 6-1 that proclaimed Alejandra champions Salazar and Gemma Triay. A victory that adjusts the fight for number 1 a little more.
