Well, you know, there are the best players, although for me some are missing from the list… But hey, it's a great team and in the end, whatever players go, I think they will win the World Cup.
You have been World Champion in Minors, both in Open and by Selections. How do you remember those moments?
The truth is that they were moments that marked me. They are the moments that I remember with more joy and I would love to relive them with the Absolute Selection.
Do you think you are the favorite maxims to revalidate title?
Yes, whether or not I go to the national team, I think Spain has a great team and will end up taking the victory.
With Marta Ortega you have reached all the quarterfinals and only in Barcelona did you reach semis, after defeating the Twin Girls Sánchez Alayeto. How do you rate that stage with Marta that has come to an end?
I think a very good stage closes, in which we have had very good results.
The rest of the year you will play with a partner you know very well, Mari Carmen Villalba. How do you face this end of the season?
I hope this new stage is great, in which we have good results at the sport level in the company of a good compi, with which there are very funny moments (laughs). We have played recently in Almuñécar and we have been lucky to win in our new stage together, or in our remember, as we like to call it to us. We have been very concentrated and very comfortable, playing in general lines very well, completing a Championship in which we can say that we have developed a new game.
What do you think you could contribute to the team if you are on the final list of selected ones?
A bit of my youth and my desire to win that tournament ... Living that first time with the National Team would be something very great, all with the references of world padel.
A wish that you have Alba both personally and collectively for this end of the season?
Obviously, my first wish is to be in the National Team. At the couple level, complete a good year with Mari and try to reach a final of the WPT Circuit.
