Padel World Press .- Almost two months have passed since it was confirmed that Alba Galán could not play at the Estrella Damm Zaragoza Open due to a protrusion on his back, which caused him to undergo a long period of treatment and rehabilitation that, at the moment, ends to enter its final stretch.

In the first two tournaments of the year, the madrileña and his partner, Mari Carmen Villalba, reached the round of 16 in both the Estrella Damm Catalunya Master (where they fell by 6-4 and 6-2 against Marta Ortega-Ari Sánchez) and in the Open of Alicante (with defeat by 6-4 and 6-2 against Marta Marrero-Alejandra Salazar).

During her 'forced withdrawal', the other member of the 'Compi-Thunder' shared the field with two other players: Nuria Rovira in Estrella Damm Zaragoza Open and Valeria Pavón in the Caja Rural Jaén Open.

Through its web page, from World Padel Tour they highlighted that, if the forecasts are confirmed, Alba Galán will be in full conditions to compete in one of the most special events of the campaign: Valladolid Open 2018.

Ambitious, fighter and nonconformist, her goal will be to reach 100% of the pucelana test to, little by little, recover the level that already made them qualify for the dispute of the Masters Finals 2017 ... And how could it not be otherwise, both Alba Galán and Mari Carmen Villalba wish to consolidate themselves in the elite of the Women's Circuit and show that they are a pair with quality and talent to aspire to everything.

As they pointed out from the WPT team: "We have to wait less for the longed-for return from the player who is sure that she hopes to forget these tough weeks as soon as possible, away from her competitive activity. Welcome again Alba! "
