From the 11 to the 17 in July, the facilities of Colors Pádel enjoyed some very special days, in which the prestigious technician of the Vibor-A Team delighted all the attendees with their great knowledge as well as their facility to connect with the fans. David Rodríguez, one of his 'students', tells us how it was an experience that he would repeat without a doubt.
Padel World Press .- The decision to participate in the Clinic that Adri taught would be taken after receiving a call from Colors Padel Club. I was informed that a technician from the World Paddle Tour Circuit would come and that the course would be very good. Since the facilities are unbeatable, like the trainer's resume, I was encouraged and decided to do it.
What could i say? Well, the experience was very positive. Adri knows how to teach and is very easy to locate the mistakes you make. In addition, everything says with a smile, which greatly facilitates the relationship with the players. It does not differentiate between being a professional or amateur player. For him, his only goal is to try to improve yourself at every moment.
As it was a three-day Clinic (2 hours a day), it should be noted that it did not focus much on technique, something that would take many more days to correct ... Rather, its content was based on tactics and even It could be said in the tactics as a paddle pair ... It shows that they are used to training pairs that play together and, therefore, the tactic is not individual but team. For me it was something completely new because I'm not used to working that 'team' side in training.
Another aspect that caught my attention was seeing how he managed to make the training sessions very participatory. Even if there were three players, you didn't get to stand waiting for your turn to come… At all times the exercises were focused on getting the players to be active and participating.
The truth is that we should have had time to take notes because there were many great advices given by Adri that can later be forgotten and that should be reviewed from time to time.
I can only say that when I return to Colors Pádel again, I will sign up again without any doubt. I would recommend to all fans not to miss the opportunity to participate in their courses, because they will get a different vision of how paddle tennis should be played.
Adri sees the paddle in a very easy and simple way, so he transmits that same vision to his players. With this, he demonstrates his quality as a coach.
