Last January, Adri went to Tenerife to teach a clinic and, in it, he coincided with Roberto Capuani, great agitator of the padel environment in Rome. From that same moment, they undertook a project that, nowadays, is already a reality.
As Caviglia himself commented to Vibor-A's colleagues: «The first germ of that meeting has been a stage that I have directed from 20 to 23 in March at the Aeronautical Club of Rome. The most amazing thing about this adventure is that fans of the four cardinal points of Italy have come. I did not give credit for the expectation that has raised my presence in the Alpine country. The level of the students was quite high, including even the number one couple in the Italian female ranking formed by Laura Pollacci and Martina Camorani ».
By way of 'historical introduction', it should be said that the paddle settled its roots in Italy a few years ago, in the Milan area to be more exact. Now, their networks are beginning to arrive in Rome, where more and more tennis clubs are installing padel courts and where there is a strong demand for specialized monitors ...
And it is at that point that the new and fascinating project of the Argentine coach starts: «I've been crafting this idea for three months. We will create an academy, which will be called Padel Academy Competition and of which I will be the Technical Director. We will not have a stable place but, what we will do, will be to certify the clubs that work with our method. We will train and train monitors so that they can transmit all our knowledge in a structured way ».
