With desire to recover as soon as possible to start preparing the new stage that would start from the seventh Open this season, Adrián shared the following message with fans:
"Since this Sunday I have been dragging some cervical discomforts that on Monday have gone to more and they will not let me compete in #WptChallenguerReebokLaFinca in Madrid.
It is the first time in 20 years of competition (15 of tennis and 5 of paddle) that I will not go to a tournament for an injury. I feel sad for not being able to say goodbye to how I would like my partner Uri Botello Cohen, in what would be our last tournament, also why he played at home and I think it would be a very special test for him.
I can only thank you for these tournaments, in which my balance is positive.
Now to recover as soon as possible #WptOpenSevilla, in which there will be many surprises, hahaha.
