The 5 of February was the starting signal for the beginning of a new era for the formation and development of the great quarry of the Spanish padel ... And it is already underway the National Circuit of Minors ADIDAS 2014, a solid project of future born with the vocation and the goal of betting on one of the main values ​​of this and any other sport: care for the 'base'.

In a spectacular press conference, held in the City of the Racket, both the Circuit and the first test of this season, an exciting T & C in which more than 400 children of all ages will be present. Undoubtedly, that a club as important as this host the opening round of this competition is a reason for satisfaction for those responsible for one of the most traditional events within the calendar of the Spanish Paddle Federation and the fastest growing in the last years.

As we learned, and for its 2014 edition, the ADIDAS National Circuit for Minors will have 3 T&C's, another 3 T&C's Premium as well as the Spanish Championship of Autonomous Teams, the Spanish Championship for Minors, the Masters Junior Final and the Spanish Team Championship.

All these tests will make up a wide calendar that will be developed throughout the year in different places of the Spanish geography such as Badajoz, Vitoria, Madrid and Valencia, among others. In turn, and as usual, the categories will be Alevín, Benjamín, Infantil, Cadet y Júnior Masculinos y Femeninos.

On the other hand, it should be noted that the official presentation of the ADIDAS National Children's Circuit was attended by Miguel Medina, President of the Spanish Federation of Paddle, and José Luis Sucre, General Director of All for Paddle Adidas Licensee. The event was also attended by some of the greatest promises of this sport as was the case of Marta Ortega, Champion of Spain Junior and World Champion in pairs and teams, and Curro Soriano, Champion of Spain Cadet and world team runners-up .

During his speech, Miguel Medina was very satisfied with the celebration of a circuit of this level in Spain. "It's a pleasure to see them compete. The Federation looks after both the technical development of the athletes and their educational training. The fact that Adidas bet in this way for the minors circuit represents a very important milestone for the paddle ".

For his part, José Luis Sicre acknowledged Adidas' commitment to paddle. "We have a philosophy focused on amateur padel and young people and for this reason we are betting on children. I want to thank the Spanish Federation for the opportunity it has given us to participate in this Circuit. I have no doubt that it will be a real success. "

Marta Ortega and Curro Soriano were the representatives of the players in the presentation, where they took the opportunity to show their feelings for the new season. The world champion and National Promise of Sports Award faces 2014 with respect because, as she acknowledged, "in the professional field I still look a bit small and I still have a long way to go".

The very young Curro Soriano reported that he thinks that the new course will be complicated for him due, especially, to the change of category. "The Junior Squad is very complicated because there are great players and the level right now is very high."

From this same year, the Adidas National Children's Circuit will take an important step forward in the communication section, as recognized by Martín Echegaray, Technical Director of the Spanish Federation of Paddle. Players and fans will have a meeting point and information through the social networks of the FEP and the specific web of the circuit , in which you can find information about the tournaments, interviews, reports, curiosities and all the necessary elements to set up a new Virtual Community of the base paddle.
