Padel World Press - Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay were crowned this Sunday as the new champions of the Italy Major Premier Padel after defeating in the final to Ari Sánchez and Paula Josemaría, world ranking leaders, by a double 6-4.

The outcome repeated the script of the Qatar final, where Brea and Triay had already defeated the same pair by an identical score. This time, in Rome, The world's number twos once again imposed their solidity and composure at key moments.

The first set started with a very even score and an exchange of breaks that kept things exciting. However, A break in the ninth game tilted the set in favor of Brea and Triay, who strung together three consecutive games to close out the first inning at 6-4. Unforced errors outweighed winning shots in the first inning.

In the second set, Brea and Triay went all out and achieved a quick 4-1 victory thanks to their aggression and greater consistency. Although Sánchez and Josemaría managed to recover a break, Their push wasn't enough to reverse the score. With another 6-4 victory, the title went to the number two.

The victory brings a double reward: Brea adds his first trophy in Rome, while Triay lifts his second title in the Italian capital and regains the number one spot in the FIP rankings.
